Referral Program Terms

How you earn commissions through your Wisdom Beacon, and how they are paid.

Last updated October 18, 2026

About these Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms (the “Referral Terms”) govern the Wisdom Beacon referral program run by Sovereign Signatures, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Your Wisdom Beacon is your personal invitation link. When someone joins through it and pays for a membership, you can earn a commission.

You accept these Referral Terms when you choose Accept Beacon terms on your Beacon page. They add to our Terms of Service, which also apply; words defined there have the same meaning here. If the two conflict on the referral program, these Referral Terms govern.

1. Who Can Take Part

To earn commissions, you must:

  • be a member of Sovereign Signatures, paid or with a free membership;
  • activate your Beacon and accept these Referral Terms;
  • be at least 18 years old; and
  • live in the United States and be able to receive payouts to a US bank account.

Our practitioners take part in the Services in a different role and do not earn referral commissions. A purchase made through a practitioner’s Beacon is recorded, but earns no commission.

2. Earning a Commission

You earn 20% of the first year’s membership fee that a person you referred pays: $88.80 on a $444 membership. You earn it once for each person. Their renewals in later years do not earn a commission.

How a referral is credited to you

A purchase is credited to you when the person follows your Beacon link, or enters your code, within the 30 days before they pay. If they used more than one member’s link, the most recent one counts. Their first purchase settles who referred them, and it cannot be changed afterwards.

When no commission is earned

No commission is earned for:

  • your own membership, or a purchase paid with a card you have used;
  • a free membership, such as a founding, gifted or partner-community membership;
  • a purchase that is fully refunded or disputed before the commission is paid; or
  • a referral made in breach of these Referral Terms.

A partial refund does not change a commission.

3. When Commissions Are Paid

A commission is first held for 30 days, the period in which the purchase can be refunded. Commissions are then paid quarterly, on the first day of the second month after the calendar quarter in which they were earned (Eastern time):

  • January to March is paid in May;
  • April to June is paid in August;
  • July to September is paid in November; and
  • October to December is paid in February.

Your Beacon page shows what you have earned, what is ready to be paid, and what has been paid. We review each payout before it is sent, and may hold a payout while we look into anything that appears to break these Referral Terms.

4. Payouts Through Stripe

We pay commissions in US dollars through Stripe, our payments provider. To receive them, set up payouts from your Beacon page. Stripe collects the identity, tax and bank details it needs on its own pages. Your account with Stripe is governed by Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement, which you accept when you set it up.

We can only pay commissions once your Stripe account is set up and able to receive payouts. Commissions wait for you until it is. If a payout fails because of your bank details, we will try again once they are corrected.

5. Refunds, Disputes and Amounts Owed

If a purchase you were paid a commission for is later disputed, the commission becomes an amount you owe us. We deduct it from your next payouts until it is recovered, unless we choose to waive it.

If the purchase is instead fully refunded after you were paid, we may treat the commission the same way, and deduct it from your next payouts.

We will not ask you to pay back a commission directly.

6. Taxes

Commissions are income to you, and you are responsible for any taxes on them. We or Stripe may ask for your tax information, and may report payments to tax authorities where the law requires it, for example on an IRS Form 1099.

7. How to Refer

Share your Beacon with people you think it would serve, honestly. When you recommend Sovereign Signatures, make clear that you may earn a commission if someone joins. You agree not to:

  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or share your link where you are not allowed to;
  • make false or misleading claims about Sovereign Signatures, including presenting a Signature as a psychological assessment, a diagnosis, or professional advice;
  • offer people money or other incentives to join through your Beacon without our written permission;
  • refer yourself, create accounts for other people, or use fake identities, someone else’s card, or any other way of earning commissions that doesn’t reflect a genuine referral;
  • present yourself as speaking for Sovereign Signatures, Inc.; or
  • use information about other members to market to them.

8. Our Relationship

You take part as an independent member. Nothing in these Referral Terms makes you our employee, agent, partner or representative, and you may not make promises or commitments on our behalf.

9. Changes to the Program

We may change or end the referral program, including the commission rate and when commissions are paid. We will tell you by email or in your console before a change takes effect. A change applies only to purchases made after it takes effect, and commissions already earned are paid under the terms in place when they were earned.

10. Leaving or Being Removed

You can stop taking part at any time. We may suspend or end your participation if you break these Referral Terms or our Terms of Service. If we end it, we will still pay commissions you earned in line with these Referral Terms, except those earned in breach of them, which are cancelled.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

The governing law and dispute resolution sections of our Terms of Service, including individual arbitration and the class action waiver, apply to these Referral Terms.
